T4 Harness & accessories check

T4 Harness & accessories check technicians have skills and knowledge at a profesional level to assess harnesses and acessories (carabiners, spreaders...). They shall operate under supervision and responsibility of an Expert Harness & accessories.

PREREQUISITES

No previous certification is needed to enter the course.

TRAINING

Check harness aging, make minor repairs. knowledge about links check and maintenance (carabiners, spreaders...)

EVOLUTION

Becomming an Expert harness and acessories allows to check and repair harnesses autonomously. Expert harness and accessories can declare an APPI approved maintenance center and have it appear on the APPI worldwide map.

APPI provides a paragliding license based on a high quality of paragliding, and an education system that is recognised internationally among all APPI schools worldwide, and partner Associations and Federations.

APPI certifications awarded to a pilot is internal to the APPI system, and shows no particular right in the country where the activity is done, unless APPI is recognized by the legal authority managing free flight in that country. Your paragliding activity must comply with the laws of the country in which it is performed. Check with the local federation if such an agreement exists. In some countries, APPI is the official education system.
