Teston Rd Vaughn 2nd site
DESCRIPTION
The top berm is perhaps 200 meters long, so that is the extent of ridge to soar. There are thermal sinks nearby, so if altitude is gained off of ridge lift, thermalling out is possible, especially on the south side where the sink is close by. Ignore any roads shown around the site past Rodinea in Google Maps or satellite view. They are all closed to traffic except site maintenance people, so you will have to walk in and up. Note: There are a few 'no trespassing' signs around this place. This land is owned by the city and is a natural gas pipe line pressure breaker site!ACTIVITIES

Keele St and Teston Rd, head east to Rodinea St, then turn right (south). Drive to the end of Rodinea where the street barrier is and park on the side of the street there. Ignore the signs talking about guard dogs, that is for a large construction / yard site off to the west following the paved road. Walk past the concrete barriers and slightly right up the slope.regulation
It's in Pearson glide path, so ceiling is 2500 ft, or roughly 1500 ft AGL. If you thermal up, don't thermal too high.Take off
