if the wind is too strong or if you just feel like it, you can take your wing to the meadows of the airport behind the takeoff - enormous area to do some groundhandling! Access just above the last settlement as you leave Jena. access better through the road bypassing the old russian military barracks; park there and walk down the dirt road leading towards the slope and the takeoff, sitated a bit to your left - watch for the windsock in a low pine tree. you can also park your car down at the bottom landing zone or in the settlement (watch out where you put it - you might get a ticket) and walk up
