A blend of ridge soaring and thermalling.Possibility of going XC over the back plateau.
It is also possible to XC the entire ridge from Cantamar to Ensenada, crossing thru La Salina. A typical flight, based upon your stamina, is 1-2 hrs. But flights in excess of 3 hrs are not unusual.
Rules
There is presently no flight regulation/enforcement. However, the La Salina ridge is privately owned by the Ejido La Mision. You need to check in at the Ejido office in La Mision, as there is a site fee. OR locate BajaBrent and he will assist you with this. Do not camp on the site without permission.
