Not much parking. Hiking up is an option via a fairly direct 4WD road. Charlottesville airport is 15 miles SE of site. Track is not currently passable without 4WD.Access
From DC:
I-66 W
to US-29 S (exit 43A) proceed 63 miles
R Fredericksburg Rd, then 4.0 miles
R US-33W, then go 3.2 miles
L Dyke Rd, then go 2.4 miles
R Rosebrook Rd, then R snow mountain road, then onto track

Previously sensitive site. Now owned by a hang glider pilot and historical issues seem to have been put to rest.
