Not a weather hazard, but maybe a health hazard is the feed lot at the south end of the ridge, your nose will tell you when a big fat juicy, er.. uhh.., thermal has released.

access

From Nampa Idaho drive South on Highway 45, about .9 miles south of Melba Rd, and just before the road descends to the Snake River, turn left on a dirt track. Follow the dirt track along the perimeter of the farm fields, past the bee-hives to a SE facing ridge line. Use the perimeter dirt road, avoid using the private roads that bisect the cultivated fields.
