There are not as much flyable days in the year as coastal sites, but it is worth it to check it out. High mountain area with more challenging winds and weather then the coastal sites.

Take the old road to Ahuachapan from Juayua, in Ruta de Las Flores, Sonsonate. El Portezuelo is 7 kms away from Juayua. Any vehicle can get there, good road.
