DESCRIPTION

Great area for soaring and some thermalling when conditions in Kyushu are not good for the more inland, thermalling areas. Occasionally XC excursions are possible but the inversion (usually a few 100 m above launch) is typically hard to break through. Scenic XC to Kamae possible.
