DESCRIPTION

Standing at launch facing north you can't see the LZ. USHPA recommends that P2 pilots launch with visual contact of the LZ. You must cross power lines to land in the LZ. The wind patterns on the pond below can help you judge wind cycles & direction. You can also see a wind sock at the east bailout LZ to the right across the road (northeast).
