DESCRIPTION
refuge altitude: 3450m.This is a climb in itself. With some rock walls,
the Amieux cliff and the ascending of the Tabuchet glacier all requiring the presence of a mountain guide. Your effort is well rewarded as the refuge is situated in a climbers paradise, at the foot of the Meije summits and in the middle of the glaciers.
