DESCRIPTION

Very beautiful view from Pedra do Cavalo lake dam. Easy lift and usual, strong thermals. For XC flights, one must be flying very high in the first 6 miles in order to cross the lake, then just follow the roads and cities forever. It’s the nearest flying site to Salvador.

Access to the ramp in bad conditions. Short take-off area. Dificult paraglider take-off.

Circa 75 miles from Salvador on BR 324 road, make it till crossroads with BR 101 road, which one should take up to Conceicao da Feira, circa 10 miles away. These are good paved roads, but access to the ramp is on a rough dirt road.
