Natural ramp, wide enough for 30 set-ups. Usual wind from 15 to 20 mph, sometimes stronger than that.Very beautiful view from Pedra do Cavalo lake dam. Easy lift and usual, strong thermals. For XC flights, one must be flying very high in the first 6 miles in order to cross the lake, then just follow the roads and cities forever. It’s the nearest flying site to Salvador.Access
Circa 75 miles from Salvador on BR 324 road, make it till crossroads with BR 101 road, which one should take up to Conceicao da Feira, circa 10 miles away. These are good paved roads, but access to the ramp is on a rough dirt road.
