Rules
Please make sure to contact a local pilot before flying this site. It can be a horrible place to fly in the wrong conditions. Hang Gliders have been flying here since the 70's, although no hang glider has flown here in years, it is a very hard site to fly in a fixed wing.
The Park Service has given the local pilots permission to fly BUT that permission can easily be taken away. You must have a flight intro from a local pilot before flying at Edgewater.
