My background:I learned to paraglide in San Francisco, California in 1990, and started teaching paragliding in 2004 with Advanced Paragliding (advancedparagliding.com). In addition to flying and creating some short films about women who fly, I co-wrote the book Fifty Dangerous Things (50dangerousthings.com) and co-founded the Institute for Applied Tinkering and Tinkering School (tinkeringschool.com).
