DESCRIPTION
There are two takeoff places, one below the rocks and the other on the top.Both takeoff places are accessible only by hiking, 20 min walk to the lower and 1 hour to the top.
The lower takeoff is not advised for inexperienced pilots. The top takeoff is big, with grass, easy to takeoff.It is one of the best places to fly in Romania.
It can be flyable all year.
Access
From Turda town through Mihai Viteazu village, in direction to Buru village and after that turn left and cross the river. From there you have 6 km to go on a pretty damaged road until Rimetea village.
Rules
The place is in the Army airspace. Ask local pilots to solve permission to fly.
