tHE TAKE OFF IS OUT OF FREQUENT USE BECAUSE OF THE NEW ONEThe flight can take some time. It has the advantage of very good thermal currents across the big mountain crest with a fantastic view of west Peloponnese and the Ionian islands.A cross-country flight can be chosen: the pilot can take routes: to the southeast for Skaidovouni and then onto Erimantho-Helmo-Ziria and further on should he choose to. It is the perfect place for competitions and a lot have taken place in the past from the Paragliding Club of Patras.

Access
Santomeri is 40km from Patras. You can reach the village via the national motorway Patras-Pyrgos, which is on the left of the industrial zone. You pass the prison of St Stephan to get to the village. It is a bitumen road, except for the last 2 km from the intersection before the village to the take off area, where there is a dirt road in good condition.
