DESCRIPTION
****This is has officially been closed by the City of Hamilton***Open meadow, 30 degree hill, lightly covered in grass, shrubs.Site has many obstacles and they are growing in size and numbers, but it is still rewarding because it creates variety of conditions good to sharpen all skill levels. Don't expect easy soaring, or even easy soaring conditions. It could be easy soaring at times, but those days are fewer as trees grow bigger.
Access
Google Maps or GPS. It's in Hamilton, Ontario at the eastern end of Lake Ontario. It's above King's Forest Golf Club.
The take off is 50m E from Mohawk Rd. E and Mountain Brow Blvd. intersection.
Rules
Small international airport 3 km away, so pay attention to flight path and height restrictions if you thermal out.
